About Jeff
Jeff is married to Sandy and they have a beautiful
newborn daughter called Emily. Jeff has been writing
for many years now. He has an MPhil research degree
in modern English Literature and is also a part-time
English and Drama teacher. He also enjoys acting and
has had lead parts in such diverse plays as 'Popcorn',
'The Bacchae' and 'Grease'.
Inspirations
Jeff lives in the now. Although his list of inspirations
and influences would suggest a lifetime spent inside
thousands of books and publications, he is surprisingly
a man of today. This is of course reflected in his work.
To single out key influences would be unfair on the
unmentioned, like a burglar in the tower of London shining
a torch around the crown jewels. I am sure if you twisted
his arm he may mention Michael Moorcock, Mervin Peak,
Graham Joyce, Herman Hesse and music by Yes, Dream Theatre
and Muse.
Work in Progress
Jeff's novel Treading On Dreams is currently being
represented for publication by a literary agent. It
blends realism with dark, psychological fantasy in a
narrative about relationships and emotional fragility.
He continues to write short stories and has begun a
